Transcript Editor - Confidence Layer

The confidence layer is the system telling you how confident it is that the text in the script matches what is being spoken. This option is best used when uploading your own transcript. Words can be missed or extraneous text can be added. Turning on the confidence layer allows you easily identify problematic areas of the transcript so you can jump to that spot and easily correct it.

NOTE: Make sure you turn on the Confidence Layers before you start working. 

Confidence layers show areas where the media-text sync may not be accurate. 

Confidence Colors

• No color: Highest confidence Level
• Green highlight: High
• Yellow highlight: Medium
• Red highlight: Low confidence. It could also mean missing or incorrect text in the transcript.
