Identify non-speech audio as sound cues and optionally edit their start and end times.
Tone and sound cues signify sounds in the transcript that are important information for the viewer, but are not actually spoken by anyone. Things like laughter, applause and phone ringing are just some examples of cues. To let the Sync Editor know that something in the transcript is a cue and not actually spoken, click the Timing & Cues tab to open up the drawer, select the word you want to designate as a cue and click the corresponding sound or tone cue button.
