Transcript Turn Around Times

SyncWords offers 4 levels of transcription.

• Standard Transcription (3-5 Business Days) 
• Two Business Day
• Next Business Day
• Same Business Day

Please read the information below to determine when you will receive your transcript back.

Business Days

Business Day means a day other than Saturday, Sunday, or a federal US holiday. SyncWords observes the following holidays:

• New Years' Day
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• Presidents Day
• Memorial Day
• 4th of July
• Labor Day
• Columbus Day
• Veterans Day
• Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day

Turnaround Times

SyncWords accepts transcription assignments between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm Eastern Time. Transcription requests submitted outside of these hours will be processed the following business day.

SyncWords only returns transcripts on business days. If a request is made which results in a turnaround on a non-business day, that file will be returned the following business day.

Standard, 2 Business Day, and Next Business Days turnarounds will all be returned by 8:00 pm ET.

Please note: Transcription turnaround times pertain to posting a transcript into the system, and do not take into account the time required for automated synchronization to complete or ProSync requests.

Same Business Day

Same Business Day projects must be submitted before 2:00 pm ET in order to have the transcript returned on the same day.  Same Business Day turnaround requests submitted between 2 pm – 8 pm will be returned the next business day by 11:00 am. Media duration cannot exceed 90 minutes.
